The second-hand marketplace Users Voice Anger Over Sizing Updates
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has revised its size classifications for women's and children's clothes but did not contact all users about the change.

Numerous buyers and vendors have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a different size category compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with other platforms.
They have suggested members to review their products and manually change the size where appropriate, which has left users frustrated.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Before the change, the sizing featured one number and one letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Stories
One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Marketplace Information
The service features exceeding 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
